Whether your dog is taking their first steps into training or you’re looking to refine skills, our class instructors are here to guide you. From basic commands to more intricate tasks, we offer a range of classes tailored to meet your training goals.

Group Classes at Dash K-9

Beginner Basics

Open to any dog and their owner who needs to create a foundation of basic obedience skills. This class focuses on real life skills and manners required for all companion dogs. Covers core skills of stay, recall, leash walking, and drop it.

Limited to 10 dogs - Cost is $350 for 7 weeks

  • Tuesdays, September 2 - October 14. 6pm - 7pm.

Beyond Basics Level 1 / Canine Good Citizen Prep

For graduates of Beginner Basics or with instructor approval. The goal of this class is to increase reliability with distractions. You'll work on proofing the already learned obedience behaviors so your dog will respond reliably in even the most distracting situations, like in the park or when food is present.

Limited to 10 dogs - Cost is $350 for 7 weeks

Canine Good Citizen Certification

Held by CALL OF THE WILD SCHOOL FOR DOGS at DASH K-9

Test your training teamwork and your dog’s skill level in this 10-skill test*

The CANINE GOOD CITIZEN is an AKC title and this test is open to AKC registered dogs, non-registered pure breeds, and mixed breed dogs.

There is a group class (see above) that reviews skills in this test. Additionally, there will be two practices prior to the test (dates and locations TBD).

  • Saturday, October 18; Test fee is $30.

Group Classes at The Farm

Introduction to Sheepherding

Spend a fun and educational day at Jennifer’s Farm!

Learn about sheep, herding dogs, and the unique relationship between man, dog, and sheep.

Interact with the sheep, watch herding demos, and have your herding breed introduced to sheep.

Dogs must be able to run off leash with other dogs and unfamiliar people, as we will be taking off-leash group walks in the sheep pastures

Limited to 15 dogs - Cost is $250 per dog/handler team; Additional handlers are $25 fee.

Virtual Group Classes

Fit Dog! Canine Conditioning on Zoom

This virtual class increases canine fitness, flexibility and body awareness through the use of props like climb platforms, inflatable discs and cavalettis.

Excellent for agility and obedience sport dogs, plus great for senior dogs needing to strengthen hind end awareness and muscle tone. Youngsters benefit from foot awareness, balance and core development.

Instructor Kris Patenaude will take you  and your dog through a FIT DOG! work out in the privacy and comfort of your own home on Zoom.

Cost is $250 for 6 weeks.
